Third Legacy Foundation
Think Out, Be Light participants and their community together after the 2026 show
TOBL Studio · A Third Legacy Foundation initiative

More places to belong. More room to create.

TOBL Studio is a year-round creative community for people with disabilities ages 16 and up, built around connection, self-expression, contribution and opportunities to try something new.

Founding cohort · Ages 16+ · October 2026–January 2027 · Dallas
01 / Why TOBL Studio

A stage can change a night. A studio can shape what comes next.

Think Out, Be Light showed us what can happen when people with disabilities are expected to show up fully, take creative risks and be seen as themselves.

TOBL Studio gives that community somewhere to go between the big moments.

Think Out, Be Light is the annual celebration. TOBL Studio is the community that continues after the lights come down.

02 / The founding cohort

A small group with room to know each other.

16+
Founding cohort is open to people with disabilities ages 16 and up.
10–12
A small cohort so people have room to connect and contribute.
Monthly
Sunday afternoon gatherings in Dallas, October 2026 through January 2027.

You do not need modeling experience. You do not need to know exactly what you're good at. Come because you want to make something, meet people, explore an interest or simply try something new.

We'll ask what helps you participate. Access is part of how we plan the Studio.

03 / What happens here

Make something. Try something. Meet somebody. Come back.

The Studio is not a fixed curriculum. What we make will grow from the cohort's interests and the people and organizations who build alongside us.

04 / How we work

Start with relationship.

Gather
Begin with trust, access needs, shared language and what people want to explore.
Make
Create alongside artists, brands, educators and community partners through real work.
Share
Participants help decide what gets shared, how it is told and what happens next.
05 / Build with us

Bring something real.

A space. A skill. A challenge. A door into an industry. A creative brief. Resources that make participation possible.

The strongest partnerships give participants something meaningful to contribute to, not simply something to attend.

Create
Bring a real-world brief, creative challenge or expertise.
Host
Offer an accessible place to gather, learn, work or celebrate.
Open a door
Create access to a workplace, cultural space, industry or experience.
Tell the story
Help document what participants make, learn and lead.
Support
Fund the Studio or provide products, materials and other resources that make participation possible.
