ACI is a research-based framework for examining the communication conditions that shape whether people with disabilities can understand information, recognize themselves in it and reach what comes next.

What ACI means

Accessibility is part of the communication system.

ACI helps teams move accessibility upstream into the brief, planning, design, testing and delivery. It asks teams to build access into the work instead of waiting until the end to check whether an asset technically passes. ACI is a practical framework, not a legal certification.
